I have been playing Assault Cube for about 8 months. I was first in the clan Turco, but this was before I knew anything about the game, or clans. As I learned more and more about the game, I decided that Turco wasn't such a great clan. I was in 5BK, but once again, left them do to having a bad reputation around the AC community. I am doing my best to build a reputation as a great player, and a great person. I am always doing my best to be kind to everyone on AC, and in the real world. I am currently doing a stint in the clan BA, but I hope that my stay is short. They are, once again, not such a well respected clan. The people in Turco, 5BK, and BA are all great people, but they just aren't what I am looking for in a clan.

I feel that I must shed some light on my past as an AC player. My old game tag used to be sXe. That was my name when I first started, and for probably the first three months of playing. When I began playing, I did not realize what a great social community revolved around AC, and so I wasn't exactly the 'social' type. I was also new to the game, so I did not fully understand all the rules involved in being an active player in the AC community. At one point, I was apparently blacklisted for, 'allowing a known cheater to play'. Let me explain this. One day I was playing, and ended up being the master in a server. A player came in with the name DES|Medusa, who I found out later was not the real Medusa, but an impersonator. They told me that they had infinite health, but they were just observing the game, so it was okay. Being a new player, I misunderstood that this was an actual thing that could be done. I recognized the name as someone who was well known in the AC community, and I thought that it was okay to observe the game the way that they were. I later found out that this was a cheater and an imposter. I understand now what was happening, but then I was just a lowly n00b, so to speak. I have since then been getting better and better, but I still had that blacklisted reputation. I changed my name to DreamKiller so that I could start fresh in my AC playing, and build up my reputation in a positive direction. I am now looking to join a clan that will better suit my needs as a more developed AC player, and help to develop my skills in the game. That is why I am here, in the TyD server. I understand that it is an 'invite only' clan, so I am not here begging to be let in, or applying to be let in. I am here to introduce myself to all who visit this Forum, and to all those members in TyD. I do not want to be let into a clan because I am 'pretty good,' I want to be let into a clan because I have earned it as a skilled player of Assault Cube. So until that day comes where I have gotten good enough to do just that, I will continue preparing myself.

Now that you know me, what do you think? See you in AC!!!
Hello DreamKiller and welcome to the forums!
Which server have you been blacklisted in ?
Hi DreamKiller/sXe!!
Welcome to the forums and good luck on joining a respected clan Icon_wink Meanwhile you oughta get yourself on irc, which is a chat program that a large part of the AC community uses.
See you around!

Uhh, i'm not sure. It's on the main AC forum blacklist...

Oh, and I will look into getting an IRC right now.
Welcome.

As can be seen on server.tearyoudown.org/blacklist/, your IP isn't blacklisted by TyD...

ok good, i'm glad. lol. I knew my IP wasn't blocked, but the name sXe began to carry somewhat of an 'unhealthy' reputation.
Ok, so I got an IRC program called Babbel, now what do I do with it?
I just spent four bloody hours trying to set up an IRC client. Actually, I tried three different IRC clients, and none worked. Apparently you're going to have to give me more than, "irc://irc.gamesurge.net/tearyoudown." Would someone please enlighten me as to why Ircle, Babbel, and Chatzilla all managed to fail on my computer? Or I could just play AC...
Using chatzilla inside firefox, if you click that link, it will work fine.
