you can type /gibnum 35-1000
1000 means = much blood if you got gibbed

well if everyone on the server is typing /gibnum 1000 then the server will have "EXTREM" laggs.

so dont do /gibnum 1000.

and if you see someone whos bleeding way to much if he gots gibbed then warn him.
you can also do gibspeed 100 Icon_biggrinIcon_biggrinIcon_biggrinIcon_biggrinIcon_biggrin

however, does this really effect the server? if everyone types /gibspeed 100 /gibnum 1000 yes, they will lag, but doesn't it only make other people lag if THEY also have the same settings?
Hi Smack (you banana!), the lag you experience is client side only, it is because you're hardware cannot handle it, personally i have gibnum on 0, to give it more of a realistic effect and for best performance. When you type /gibnum 1000 , only you will see the blood and guts, they will see whatever they have set /gibnum to.
However, if you do lag a lot with /gibnum 1000, it may affect other players (i think).. either that, or it makes it easy for them to gib you... :)
Gibnum (afaik) is totally client sided. The only way that gibnum effects other players, or the server, is by your hardware (if it can't handle it) lagging your connection to the server... nothing more.

Edit: As well as the "gibspeed" command which will make gibs fly very far/fast... there is also the "gibttl" command, which will make the gibs sit on the ground shorter or longer... so you could make the gibs go away faster by using gibttl.
yeah i knew there was a third command, just couldn't remember what it was.
